Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
Provide a nurturing and supportive learning workplace for children
Plan and supervise activities to stimulate physical, social, and intellectual growth
Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development

Experience:
Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
Familiarity with special education needs and accommodations
Familiar with How Does Learning Happen? Ontario's Pedagogy

Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in computer applications related to teaching and record keeping
Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children





Education:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required
Registered Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
