Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper/Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, experience in food service, and a solid commitment to cleanliness and quality. Duties
Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
Support cooking activities, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
Ensure proper food handling and storage in compliance with safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or dining areas
Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages




Support the team during busy service times to ensure timely meal delivery

Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
Basic understanding of serving protocols and meal presentation is a plus
Food industry or culinary training is advantageous but not mandatory
