DZ Driver - Roll Off and Front End
Location: North York (West End) or Pickering
Start Time: 6 AM

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Tuesday to Saturday

Salary and Perks:
Hourly Rate: $27+
Overtime: Available after 50 hours

Responsibilities:
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Drive front-end trucks on designated routes to collect and transport solid waste
Ensure vehicle cleanliness and compliance with laws
Collaborate with Dispatch and Route Supervisor for efficiency and customer service
Use Fleet Mind for work documentation
Complete route documentation accurately
Report any incidents or issues to the Route Supervisor

Working Conditions:
Drive commercial trucks through the yard and from dealers
Operate in tight settings with overhead hazards
Work in various weather conditions
Perform time-sensitive pickups and deliveries

Requirements:
Hold a Class DZ
Minimum 1 year of roll off and/or front-end truck experience
Experience in both manual and automatic transmission
Proficient in maneuvering and backing commercial trucks




Clean CVOR and Driver Abstract for the past 24 months
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
Solid work ethic and customer focus
Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehension for report documentation

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
