Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to lead a well-established hospital while remaining hands‑on with clinical practice. This role would suit a confident veterinarian who enjoys setting medical standards, mentoring colleagues, shaping protocols, and supporting long‑term hospital growth.
The position offers the opportunity to guide a capable veterinary team, work closely with an experienced Practice Manager, and influence clinical services, equipment use, and patient care standards. Qualifications
Provincial DVM licensing or eligibility to become licensed is required
Minimum of five years of clinical veterinary experience preferred
Solid interest in leading, coaching, and developing veterinary teams
Excellent communication skills with a client‑focused approach
