We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in carpentry, blueprint reading with the ability to work efficiently on commercial and residential projects. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of heavy lifting, operating power tools and executing accurate framing tasks.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute framing projects accurately.
Construct, install, and repair structural frameworks using wood, steel, or other materials.
Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for foundation or structural components.
Operate hand tools, power tools safely and efficiently.
Conduct heavy lifting of materials up to specified weight limits to ensure proper placement of structural elements.
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment on-site.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards.
Maintain clean work areas and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Experience
Proven experience as a carpenter or framer with a strong understanding of construction processes.
Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
Prior experience working with heavy equipment operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining attention to safety standards.
