Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Sushi Chef Helper to join our team. As a Sushi Chef Helper, you will play an Significant role in supporting the sushi bar operations, assisting the chefs with preparation tasks.

Responsibilities:
Assist the sushi chefs with the preparation of ingredients for sushi.
Prepare and cook sushi rice, ensuring the perfect consistency and temperature.
Roll sushi and cut rolls according to the restaurant's standards.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar.
Perform basic duties such as sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely and high-quality preparation of sushi dishes.
Ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are always followed.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Education:
Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Food Handler Certification (preferred)
Food Protected, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
