This position will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of all the plant’s equipment, processes, and property.

Maintenance Millwright

As an Maintenance Mechanic for Lactalis, you will be performing daily preventative maintenance on processing equipment, high-speed packaging equipment, ancillary equipment, etc. Regular adjustments and repairs to be performed on production equipment as the need arises.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Complete all assigned work and accurately document completion of work
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment and recent construction
Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, Health & Safety, Food Safety & Environmental Standards
Perform tasks related to dismantling, installation, repair,



and testing mechanical equipment
Perform other trades practices on work assignments within ability and skill level
Provide information regarding job downtime, material needs, manpower, and uptime
Other duties as assigned

Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:
Licensed millwright within Ontario (433 A License)
Driven ability to learn and perform all aspects of the job
3 to 5 years of relevant industrial manufacturing experience
Solid preventative maintenance and troubleshooting ability
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Capability to read, interpret and utilize blueprints and drawings
Working knowledge of basic maintenance management software (SAP) would be an asset
Experience with plant utilities including HVAC, boiler, chiller, and compressors would be considered an asset

Rotational shift including weekends/nights

Job Type: Full time

Pay: Up to $45.02 per hour
