Our Company is looking for a Afternoon Dispatch position for trucking operations.
This Dispatcher's responsibilities will include:
To act as a communication point for logistic needs that will require them to receive requests, answer calls and track vehicles
Providing dispatch assistance for shipments by email and phone, including booking, entering, and tracing loads
Custom Clearence for shipments
Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
Dispatch Board management
Dealing with any customer questions or concerns in a qualified manner
Need to ensure customer relations are maintained at all times
Dispatch personnel according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situations
Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
Requirements
Experience in Trucking dispatch /operations
Positive communication skills (verbal and written)
Able to communicate with drivers to ensure smooth delivery of freight in a timely manner.
Able to work in a team environment under high pressure situations
Need to be able to prioritize workload
Must be able to multi-task as well take appropriate action with little supervision
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and good typing skills.
Strong analytical, organization and problem solving skills
