Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Farm Labourer to join our agricultural team. This role involves supporting daily farm operations, maintaining equipment, and assisting with crop and livestock activities. The ideal candidate will have a solid work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn current skills in a dynamic farm setting.

Responsibilities
Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using appropriate tools and machinery
Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm equipment and irrigation systems
Use hand tools and power tools for various tasks including fencing, building structures, and equipment setup
Support livestock care activities such as feeding, cleaning, and health monitoring
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist with general farm chores including loading/unloading supplies and materials
Support irrigation systems installation, repair,



and operation to ensure proper water distribution

Requirements
Basic knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and farm maintenance preferred
Mechanical knowledge or experience with farm machinery is a plus
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance tasks
Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding conditions
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to farming activities
Willingness to learn about farm operations, machinery, and safety procedures
Prior experience in farming or agricultural work is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $17.63 per hour
