Role Description

JZ Communications is continuing to grow and looking for a energetic Social Media Manager to join the team. This role is a part-time, remote position in the greater Montreal area with flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing the social media accounts for a portfolio of clients.
Develop and implement social media strategies/campaigns tailored to each brand
Maintain and update content calendars
Capture, create and edit engaging content (static images, carousels, and reels), with a strong emphasis on short-form video
Schedule, publish, and manage social media posts across multiple platforms
Engage with customers, influencers and opinion leaders
Monitor and respond to comments and DMs to foster community engagement




Analyze social media insights and adjust strategies accordingly
Assist with influencer outreach and communications
Assist with email marketing (experience with Klaviyo is a plus)
Collaborate with clients
Manage brand reputation

Qualifications
Must be based in the Montreal area and bilingual
Experience managing brand social media channels with a proven track record of growing audiences and engagement
Experience creating engaging content (both image and reels)
Experience with social media monitoring and analytics tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and remotely
Experience with email marketing (and Klaviyo in particular), a plus
Knowledge of the Montreal/Quebec influencer and/or media landscape, a plus
Other experience in communications, marketing, public relations and email marketing, a plus
