We are looking to expand our team with a Shop Coordinator. This position is Monday - Friday from 12 pm - 8 pm, rotating weekends and long weekends or holidays as needed.
The main duties of a Shop Coordinator will include:
Inventory tracking & parts organization
Ordering and picking up parts.
Communicating with clients to provide updates on work progress.
Driving company vehicles, including cars, trucks, and some heavy-duty equipment, both in office and on the road.
Completing, sending out, and collecting payment for invoices.
Maintaining overall tidiness of shop
The right candidate must have:
must be comfortable working in variable conditions, including cold, hot, and wet environments, and must dress appropriately for the weather.
Class 5 or 7 license with a clean drivers abstract
7+ years of knowledge of automotive, heavy trucks or equipment
Comfortability ordering and sourcing information in e-catalogs
Experience utilizing automotive or heavy truck invoicing software & point of sale systems
Ability to assist technicians as needed on shop floor (ie. moving / loading parts, turning engine over, reading laptop during diagnoses)
A good memory and time management skills
Knowledge of measurement tools (ie. Vernier Caliper)
The ability to lift 50lbs regularly
A motivated and qualified attitude
Red Seal or Registered Apprenticeship in Parts Technician
Heavy Duty / Automotive / Commercial Truck Technician Apprentices need not apply. Position is not suited for Apprentice Technicians

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
