Ryuko is hiring kitchen team members for our Beltline and West Calgary locations.

Responsibilities

Line Cook / Kitchen Staff:
Prepare and plate hot food and appetizers
Work on fry, grill, or assigned kitchen stations
Complete daily food preparation and kitchen duties
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures

Sushi Chef:
Prepare sushi, nigiri, sashimi, and related menu items
Perform fish preparation as required
Maintain food quality, freshness, and sanitation standards
Keep the sushi station clean and organized

Roll Chef:
Prepare sushi rolls and assigned menu items
Complete sushi station preparation and garnish work




Maintain an organized and sanitary workstation
Training may be provided to suitable entry-level applicants

Dishwasher:
Operate commercial dishwashing equipment
Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils
Maintain a clean and organized dish station
Assist with general kitchen cleaning and closing duties

Qualifications
Previous restaurant or commercial kitchen experience is an asset
Sushi Chef applicants should have relevant sushi preparation experience
Entry-level applicants may be considered for selected positions
Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and respectful
Able to work cooperatively as part of a team
Able to follow workplace, food safety, and sanitation procedures
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
