We are a quick paced and fulfilling company that is seeking a detail orientated and experienced Carpenters to join our Construction Department.
Seeking 2nd Year Apprentice to Journeyman Carpenters
The Role
You will assist the site superintendent to carry out the commercial construction projects at site.
About Site
This project is based in Northern Saskatchewan and operates on a rotational schedule of two weeks on, followed by two weeks off. The role is fly-in/fly-out , flights are out of Saskatoon, SK. Employees would be responsible to get themselves to Saskatoon. While on site, employees will stay in a remote camp setting where meals and accommodations are fully provided. The camp offers essential amenities to ensure a comfortable and supportive living setting during work rotations. Summary of the duties
Reading blueprints and drawings to understand the specifications and dimensions of the structures
Building and installing but not limited to wooden structures within commercial buildings, including rough framing, interior finishes like cabinetry, trim and millwork etc.
Ensuring all carpentry work meets quality standards and building code
Adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites
Required
2nd Year Apprentice to Journeyman Carpenter Certification
Previous construction/carpentry experience is a must
