We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Strong customer service experience is essential, as this role may involve interacting with guests and supporting front-of-house needs when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with basic food preparation tasks (washing, chopping, portioning ingredients)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils
Wash dishes, pots, and pans promptly and efficiently
Support cooks and kitchen staff during busy periods
Ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are followed
Help with receiving and storing deliveries
Dispose of waste and keep garbage areas clean
Provide assistance with customer service when needed, including responding to basic inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset
Customer service experience is required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Good attention to detail and hygiene standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Versatile availability, including evenings and weekends
