Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Duties
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
Assist with plating dishes for service, ensuring consistency and visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Support the kitchen team during busy hours, including serving orders promptly
Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed





Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
Solid knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced environment
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods
Valuable communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Knowledge of the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance
Experience with meal preparation, serving, and food service operations is preferred
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
