We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join our cannabis production facility. This role combines process optimization, technical machinery support, and facility maintenance in a fast-paced, in-person production environment. You'll play a key role in keeping our production line running efficiently while also pitching in on the floor when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, throughput, and product quality
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production machinery and equipment
Support ongoing facility maintenance, including preventive maintenance and repairs
Assist with general labor duties related to packaging and production as needed
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective, timely solutions
Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify process improvement opportunities
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and process changes
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper use of PPE at all times
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (required)
Prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer, ideally in a production or manufacturing setting
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to industrial or production machinery
Comfortable working directly on the production floor alongside equipment and staff
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Work Workplace
On-site, in-person role requiring physical presence 5 days per week
Involves regular walking and moving throughout the facility
Requires lifting and moving materials and supplies
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times per facility safety guidelines

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
