We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Childcare Provider to support families by providing attentive and nurturing care for an autistic child in a home setting. The ideal candidate will foster a secure, engaging, and supportive environment that promotes the child's development and well-being. Duties
Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety and engagement
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times
Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote learning and development
Maintain a clean and organized caregiving space, including light cleaning tasks
Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
Communicate regularly with parents regarding child's progress, behavior, and any concerns
Take children to school and pick them up.
Follow all safety protocols and caregiving guidelines to ensure a secure environment
Skills
Experience working with children, including infants and toddlers
Knowledge of caregiving best practices for children with disabilities or special needs
Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks, including meal planning and cooking skills
Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and attentiveness
Experience with teaching or educational activities suitable for young children
Ability to perform light cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy caregiving environment
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children and parents
Flexibility to adapt to different family routines and child-specific needs

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
