Overview

We are seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (Extended Class) to support two Family Physician clinics in Kitchener. This is a part time (25 hrs per week) role. The NP will provide comprehensive, patient‑centred primary care across all ages in a team-oriented team environment.

Duties
Complete health assessments and physical exams.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests.
Prescribe medications and treatments within NP scope.
Provide preventive care, health promotion, and patient education.
Perform Pap smears, pelvic exams, wound care, and other routine primary care procedures.
Counsel patients on common family medicine concerns (weight changes, deficiencies, IBS, Celiac, IBD, eating disorders).
Maintain accurate electronic medical records.





Requirements
Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner (Extended Class) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Primary care/family practice experience is an asset.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
Experience using electronic medical records is preferred.

Pay: $60.47-$71.05 per hour
