We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker/Joiner to join our dynamic woodworking and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets, furniture, and architectural woodwork, transforming detailed blueprints and schematics into beautifully finished products. Your expertise will contribute to a wide range of projects in the high end Kelowna residential renovation market. Duties
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and woodwork components
Cut, shape, assemble, and finish custom cabinets and furniture using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
Install cabinetry, shelving, and other wood fixtures in office with precision and care
Perform restoration work on existing wood structures or furniture to restore their original appearance and functionality
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met throughout the manufacturing and installation process
Conduct quality inspections at various stages of production to maintain high standards of craftsmanship
Requirements
Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or cabinetry with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other woodworking equipment
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during manufacturing or installation tasks
Robust attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
