As a key member of the maintenance team, the Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and optimizing maintenance work, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
Job Duties:
Plan, schedule, and optimize maintenance work.
Create and manage schedules for all types of maintenance (preventative, predictive and reactive) for equipment and the facilities to ensure equipment reliability and productive operations.
Ensure necessary parts, materials, tools and manpower are available and allocated for maintenance tasks by coordinating with all stakeholders.
Responsible for procurement of maintenance materials and equipment and responsible for the monitoring/maintaining of maintenance inventory.
Ensure safety procedures are adhered to when scheduling tasks and that all appropriate permits and safety equipment are available.
Manage and develop work orders, documentation and assets within the computerized maintenance management system.
Administrator and coordinator of the plant maintenance software
Assist with project and shutdown planning and scheduling.
Contribute to the development and refinement of maintenance processes, procedures and the overall work management system
Qualifications:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience within a maintenance department & with maintenance software is considered an asset.
Participate in all required Health and Safety, GMP and SQF training.
Subject to a explicit criminal records check.
