Duties
Safely operate trucks.
Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records




Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries

Skills
Ability to load & unload and assemble furniture.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial drivers
Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan productive routes under tight schedules
Physical stamina for long hours
Experience with delivery driver responsibilities and maintaining vehicle safety standards
