Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. As a CDA, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during various dental procedures and ensuring the comfort of our patients. This is a full time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including taking X-rays, providing instruments, and maintaining suction
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Take accurate patient medical histories and record vital signs
Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
Experience:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
Proficient in Opes or similar dental software
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
Compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients
Ability to work well as part of a team
