Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Store Associate to join our team in Medicine Hat. The ideal candidate is passionate about animals and customer service. Experience working with pets is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service and pet care advice
Assist with dog washes and maintain cleanliness of wash stations
Perform general store cleaning and upkeep
Support with inventory setup, restocking, and merchandising
Operate the cash register and handle transactions
Help maintain adoption rooms and ensure pets are well-cared for
Follow company policies and health & safety procedures
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a pet care or retail setting is an asset
Comfortable working with dogs, cats, and other small animals
Strong work ethic, reliability,
and a positive attitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Willingness to learn and contribute to a team workplace
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
