Duties
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
Cook and assemble dishes efficiently during service hours, ensuring quality and presentation
Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Support the kitchen team in meal prep tasks such as chopping, marinating,
and portioning ingredients
Ensure timely delivery of orders to the dining area while maintaining high standards of quality
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to provide a safe setting for staff and guests
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
Flexibility to adapt to different tasks as needed during shifts
Prior experience with meal preparation, serving, or restaurant operations is highly desirable
