We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our maintenance team. Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on commercial trucks and trailers.
Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues accurately
Conduct welding repairs and fabrications using various hand tools and power tools to restore equipment functionality
Operate heavy machinery safely during maintenance procedures or assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed
Maintain detailed service records, work orders,
and maintenance logs for all repairs performed
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations
Assist in assembly or disassembly of components during major repairs or upgrades
Experience
Proven mechanic experience with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles and industrial equipment
Robust electrical knowledge including reading schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems in trucks or trailers
Skilled in welding, fabrication, and the use of power tools for repairs or modification
