Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Mechanic to join our automotive service team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, providing a valuable foundation for a career in automotive mechanics. The Apprentice Mechanic will work closely with experienced technicians to develop essential skills in diagnostics, repair, and customer service within a skilled dealership environment.

Duties
Assist with diagnosing mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair and assemble vehicle components
Support the repair of engines, transmissions, brakes, and other automotive systems
Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and when working with heavy machinery or parts
Read and interpret schematics to facilitate proper repairs and assembly
Contribute to vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency




Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while providing excellent customer service

Qualifications
Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in automotive repair
Experience or familiarity with dealership operations is a plus
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and perform welding tasks effectively
Willingness to learn about schematics, assembly processes, and maintenance procedures
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
Solid attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Prior mechanic experience or technical training is advantageous but not required
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
