We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Cleaner to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment within our daycare facility. Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning tasks across all daycare areas, including classrooms, play zones, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
Disinfect surfaces, toys, furniture, and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene standards
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors to ensure a spotless environment
Restock cleaning supplies and hygiene products as needed to support ongoing cleanliness efforts
Conduct routine inspections of the facility for maintenance issues such as leaks or damages and report them promptly for resolution
Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a secure environment for children and staff




Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed to ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills
Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services, preferably within a commercial or childcare setting
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including disinfecting methods suitable for daycare environments
Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks or identify when repairs are needed
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and safety
Good communication skills to coordinate with staff regarding cleaning schedules or special requirements
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established procedures
Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift
