Job Title: Truck Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods over short and long distances while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. The ideal candidate should have a solid work ethic, excellent driving record, and the ability to work independently.

-2 positions available: 1 dry van, 1 flat deck

-Must have minimum 5 years driving experience

-Must have a clean CVOR

-Must be able to cross the border

-Fast Card or TWIC card an asset but not required

Responsibilities:
Safely operate a variety of trucks, including vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
Perform routine checks on vehicles to ensure proper maintenance and report any issues promptly
Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries and optimize fuel efficiency
Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and pick-ups




Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws during transportation
Maintain accurate driving logs and complete necessary paperwork for each trip

Skills:
Proven experience in and transporting goods safely
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
Familiarity with handling different types of cargo and cargo securement
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
