Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain a secure, clean and orderly working setting
Sort scrap metal (ferrous and Non-ferrous)off conveyors at the industrial metal shredder
General maintenance to ensure the equipment and yard are clean and organized
Perform daily checks to ensure equipment is maintained in working order
Sort and stack materials as directed




Processing material customers have dropped in the bins in front of the non-ferrous shop.
Assisting equipment operators as required
Other duties around the yard as requested

Qualifications/Skills
Capable of walking and standing for long periods of time
Willing to work in all weather conditions(rain or shine)
Working at heights
Mechanically inclined
General Labour experience
Equipment operating experience preferred
Scrap Metal experience preferred

This position will operate from Monday to Friday 7:00AM to 5:00PM (earlier start times may be required) and rotating Saturdays 7:00am to 12:00pm.
