We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clinical & Administrative Assistant to support both the clinical and office operations of our specialty dental practice. This is a hybrid role combining chairside clinical support with administrative and customer service duties. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a clinical setting, has robust clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with office software. Experience in medical or dental offices — clinical, chairside, or administrative — is a strong asset but not required, as full training is provided.
Responsibilities
Clinical (training provided)
Assisting with sterilization and instrument processing
Providing chairside support during minor surgical and clinical procedures
Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and clinical supplies
Following infection control and safety protocols
Administrative (training provided)
Sending consultation and specialist reports to referring providers
Drafting and formatting medical and dental letters
Faxing documents accurately and on a timely basis
Managing administrative tasks through our online clinic systems
Accounts receivable (AR)
— tracking outstanding balances and following up on payments
Basic bookkeeping — recording transactions and maintaining accurate financial records
Providing excellent customer service over the phone

Requirements
MUST HAVE: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word) and Adobe Acrobat (PDF) — non-negotiable PREFERRED: Prior clinical or chairside experience (dental, medical, or similar setting) PREFERRED: Familiarity with medical or dental terminology ASSET: Experience in accounts receivable (AR), bookkeeping, or basic medical billing ASSET: Robust attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines independently ASSET: Comfort with sterilization procedures and assisting during minor surgical procedures
