Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages with enthusiasm
Operate POS systems, including Givex POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately
Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation, food handling, and food safety protocols
Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service
Ensure cleanliness of the front of house area, including dining spaces, counters, and service stations
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a solid focus on customer service
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Givex POS, for efficient transaction processing
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and basic food safety standards
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and upselling opportunities
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
Ability to work in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude
