Duties
Assist customers by providing knowledgeable service on meat products, cuts, and preparation options
Prepare meat by performing precise butchery tasks, including cutting, trimming, and portioning according to store standards
Handle food products safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness at all times
Package meat products securely for display or customer purchase, ensuring freshness and presentation quality
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and storage areas in compliance with food safety regulations




Restock and organize meat displays to ensure attractive presentation and product availability
Support food preparation activities in the kitchen or back-of-house areas as needed to meet customer demand

Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or butchery, is highly preferred
Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and proper food handling practices
Familiarity with food safety standards and packaging procedures
Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy items safely
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Certification in food safety or related training is advantageous
