We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning setting that supports children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment.
Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
Follow Alberta childcare regulations, health and safety policies, and program guidelines.
Collaborate with colleagues to support children's individual needs and overall program goals.
Qualifications
Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or Level 3 Certification (required).
Experience working with infants, toddlers,
or preschool-aged children is an asset.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
A caring, patient, and positive attitude.
Valid First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
Ability to speak Arabic is considered an asset but is not required.
