Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Service Technician (Yard) for a well-established company in the modular building and equipment industry.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, problem-solving, and completing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, repair, and prepare modular buildings and trailers for delivery
Complete maintenance work including:
Carpentry (framing & finishing)
Basic electrical and plumbing
Flooring, painting, and general repairs
Perform modifications based on client requirements
Conduct basic HVAC checks and maintenance
Ensure units are ready on schedule and meet quality standards
Maintain tools, equipment, and parts inventory
Keep work area clean, organized, and protected
Follow all safety procedures and attend regular safety meetings
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Carpentry experience considered an asset
Experience in electrical, plumbing, or welding is an advantage
Must have reliable transportation (yard location outside central area)
