Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part time Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our energetic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to providing exceptional service to our patients.

Hours will be:

Mondays & Tuesdays 8:00am to 5:00pm & Saturdays: 8:00am to 3:00pm with the exception of long weekends (Office is closed Friday - Monday all long weekends)!

Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare patients for treatments and procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.




Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure productive operations within the practice.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology.
Familiarity with dental software Curve Dental is a plus.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
