Staffmax is currently hiring 5 General Event Staff to support a one-day event in Calgary.

Event Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026
Pay Rate: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Positions Available: 5
Schedule - 11:00 am - 8:30 pm
Location: 4929 Avenue, Calgary

Key Responsibilities
Assist with event setup and preparation
Support event planning and general administrative tasks
Welcome and greet attendees professionally
Guide guests throughout the event venue
Assist with event organization and coordination
Set up event perimeters, signage, and designated event areas
Provide general support to ensure the event runs smoothly
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team setting
Reliable, punctual,



and able to follow instructions
Able to stand and walk for extended periods
Previous event or customer service experience is an asset but not required
