Temporary Full time – Approximately 2 Months

This is a temporary full-time position to cover an employee leave, with an expected duration of approximately 2 months. The duration may vary depending on operational needs.

Belcan is a specialized, chemical free soybean crushing operation. Safety and quality are our main drivers. If you are motivated and want to learn about soybean processing for livestock feed, we will offer you complete training.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control & Data Technician to support both quality control and production activities at our Winchester facility.

This is a hybrid quality and administrative role combining product sampling and testing with data entry, record keeping, and production activity tracking. The successful candidate will help ensure that quality and operational information is accurately recorded, organized, and communicated.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine product sampling and quality control testing
Enter and maintain quality and production data in company systems and spreadsheets
Record daily production and operational activities
Maintain accurate testing, production, inventory, and traceability records
Review data for completeness and identify missing or inconsistent information




Compile and organize quality and operational documentation
Communicate test results and relevant information to production and management
Assist with production reports and other administrative tracking
Maintain organized electronic and paper records
Support product traceability and lot documentation
Follow established quality control procedures and standards
Assist with other quality and administrative tasks as required

Requirements
Experience in quality control, laboratory, production administration, or data entry is an asset
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with computers, spreadsheets, and data entry
Good organizational and record-keeping skills
Ability to follow established procedures
Ability to communicate effectively with production and management
Comfortable working in both an office and production workplace
Previous experience in food, feed, grain, agriculture, or manufacturing is an asset
