We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Crate Builder / Sign Packaging & Shop Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for building custom shipping crates, packaging finished signs for safe transport, maintaining a clean and organized shop, and supporting the production team with general shop duties. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and works well in a quick-paced manufacturing workplace.
Responsibilities
Build custom wooden crates for finished signs and other products.
Package signs and related materials to ensure safe shipping and delivery.
Load, unload, and move materials using appropriate equipment.
Keep the shop, warehouse, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Remove scrap materials and dispose of waste properly.
Assist with inventory organization and material handling.
Help production staff with general shop tasks as needed.
Inspect completed packaging to ensure products are protected from damage.
Follow all workplace safety procedures and use equipment properly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
