Position Overview:At the Ramada Saskatoon, our evening line cooks are responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry and/or other stations or areas of the kitchen.

Position Responsibilities:
Prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of meats, vegetables, soups, breakfast dishes, and other food items in appropriate quantities while following menus, recipes, and production sheets while maintaining the highest of standards.
Ensures proper plate presentation techniques when displaying food.
Organizes and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.
Communicates efficiently with other production and wait staff.
Position Requirements:
Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
Previous prep or line cook experience.
English language and skilled communications skills are required.
Ability to take direction.
Ability to work in a team environment.




Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Must have problem solving abilities and be self-motivated.
Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrates the ability to proactively prioritize needs, put first things first, and effectively manage resources and time.
