POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a full time permanent Rebar Detailer, who will be reporting directly to the Detailing Manager. In this position the Detailer is responsible for creating explicit and accurate rebar placement drawings, coordinating with key external stakeholders, and submitting orders to the production team. The ideal candidate has interest in eventually leading the Detailing team.
POSITION FUNCTIONS
Produce 2D drawings in Microstation and have a working knowledge of CAD
Ensure materials and time allocation are within estimated parameters of projects
Administration of miscellaneous parts of contracts
Plan and coordinate product delivery dates with external clients

Training and working knowledge of AutoCAD
Construction (civil, concrete) related experience is preferred
working conditions
The successful incumbent will be working 40+ hours per week in an office setting as well as occasional site visits. Frequent and regular use of the computer is required as well as exposure to the elements and loud noises are possible.
