Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
Completion of secondary school
Certification as a heavy equipment mechanic
Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic
Understanding of computer testing technologies
Ability to lift heavy machinery
Fluent in English and French an asset
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

Roles and Responsibilities:
Receive work orders for equipment
Inspecting trucks, cranes and other heavy equipment for proper performance




Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment
Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools
Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles
Cleaning and servicing of machine attachments like winches, blades and booms
Performing major repair work when necessary
Consulting with other mechanics if required
Reporting damaged for faulty equipment to management
Work in a secure manner by following all Ontario Health and Safety Regulations
Perform other essential duties as required

Job Type & Salary: Full time, Permanent. Salary Range – 70,000 – 85,000 and will commensurate with
qualifications and experiences
