Responsibilities

Support consultation and engagement activities, contributing to clear, respectful, and effective communication processes.

Assist with proposal development, including technical inputs, work planning, and cost estimates.

Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and consistency across all project deliverables.

Mentor and support junior and intermediate staff, contributing to knowledge sharing and team development.

Promote a positive and collaborative team environment through teamwork and open communication.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000. Final agreed‑upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.

Full‑time, permanent role with flexible scheduling available.

Qualifications:

Post‑secondary degree in a related environmental discipline (environmental science, engineering, ecology, or environmental policy/law).

7‑12+ years of experience in environmental assessment and permitting in BC or a relevant Canadian jurisdiction.

Strong understanding of municipal, provincial, and federal environmental regulatory and permitting frameworks.

Demonstrated experience supporting EA processes and preparing regulatory applications and technical reports.

Experience working within an environmental consulting environment.

Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple priorities.

Exposure to Indigenous consultation and stakeholder engagement processes is an asset.

Understanding of international environmental and social impact assessment standards is an asset.

Willingness to travel within Canada as needed.
