SUMMARY

This role is required to work with leadership preparing the accreditation for the microbiology laboratory. A Project Leader should be able to maintain quality, safety and control standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage laboratory accreditations and licensing requirements.
- Work with the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) to get our Lab accreditation.
- Connect with Internal/External stakeholders on matters related to the accreditation.
- Maintain all required records for operations, licensing, and accreditations.
- Develop and ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures and test methods.
- Lead a team to get the job done efficiently and effectively.
- Attend weekly/monthly meetings as per schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree completed or equivalent work experience (at least 3 years or more full time paid corporate/non‑profit work experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in biology.
- Technical competence in analytical chemistry and/or microbiology.
- Experience in Laboratory management.
- Microbiological experience required.
- Good analytical skills and willingness to learn.
- Good oral and written communication skills.




- Focused attention to detail and critical thinking.

WORK HOURS & LOCATION

Project Leaders are expected to put in a minimum of 8 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 36 hours. Applicants residing in North‑America are preferred; volunteers from all around the world are also welcome who are comfortable volunteering and attending meetings at EST Time Zone.
