Job Summary Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings. You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement. The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the position will move to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.
Business Overview The Full Stack Developer, Investly is responsible for helping to build and maintain Java and React.js applications. Capabilities for this role include building applications in Java using modern architectures; hands‑on experience in Object Oriented Languages (Java, Kotlin, C#, Objective‑C/Swift), Cloud Based Technologies (AWS), Front‑End Frameworks (React‑JS, Node.js), and Mobile Development Frameworks (React‑Native, Swift/Objective‑C, Kotlin/Java); application coding based on design and specifications; translating complex business problems into practical, implementable solutions that will drive high‑impact business value; and working closely with other team members to maintain internal applications and develop new products and services.
What You Will Do Liaise with internal user groups as needed to effectively program applications based on business and systems requirements.
Work collaboratively with peers and business partners to deliver high‑quality projects and innovative solutions.
Ensure that functional specifications can be implemented technically while developing and innovating creative solutions.
Design, develop, enhance, modify, and maintain application code and software solutions based on specific business requirements.
Implement the best practices of Agile and DevSecOps for development to deliver quality products predictably and consistently.




Develop unit tests to ensure high‑quality code and be accountable for the quality of the product delivered.
Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
Interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
What You Will Bring Robust planning and software implementation skills.
Understanding of the importance of non‑functional requirements including security, performance, and data management.
Experience in both user interface and API implementation.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral.
Ability to drive consensus among key stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and comprehend technical details clearly.
Ability to demonstrate product demos to users and stakeholders, collect feedback and implement improvements.
Experience, Education University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of Java, JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular), or mobile development experience.
Experience interfacing with back‑end applications using MQ, SOAP, RESTful services, and JSON.
Experience with MySQL or similar SQL‑based database systems.
Application development using Java Web development with React‑JS or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
Agile project management tools (JIRA) and CI/CD pipelines.




Developing AWS or other cloud solutions according to industry best practices.
