Overview
BayCare is a large health system with a network of hospitals and health services. This posting details a Respiratory Therapist role at St. Joseph's Hospital, part of BayCare Health System’s Respiratory Care Services.

Responsibilities

Delivers Respiratory Care Services under physician orders and in accordance with hospital protocols, with the ability to function in unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.

Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.

Performs diagnostic testing and provides emergency/adult critical care as needed.

Additional responsibilities include intubation and A-line skills as trained.

Qualifications

RRT (Respiratory Therapy License)

Active NBRC Credential for RRT

CPR

ACLS – within 6 months

PALS – preferred

Education

Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy – required

Bachelor’s degree – preferred

Experience

Recent grads from an accredited respiratory care program are welcome to apply

Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Shift: Days

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
