As a Survey Crew Chief, you will perform various types of surveys and participate in detailed construction and topographic mapping. You’ll maintain effective communication with project managers and actively promote safety culture on-site. Additionally, some office technical work will complement your field duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct surveys and locate buried facilities
• Carry out legal and construction surveys
• Advocate for a strong health and safety culture
• Update project managers on progress and changes
• Liaise with clients and landowners directly
Requirements:
• Strong problem solving in outdoor settings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create accurate field notes and records
• Manage information between field and office seamlessly
• Solid understanding of surveying methodologies and regulations
