Overview
San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) is a regional agency located in Stockton, CA that provides educational leadership, resources, and customized services to assist school districts. SJCOE employs over 2,100 classified and certificated employees and promotes student achievement and accountability, serving San Joaquin County’s at-risk students and striving to create an environment where every student has the opportunity for a quality education.
Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Director, Alternative Programs, at single or multiple sites, uses specialized techniques to provide instruction in identified social and academic areas that meet the individual and group needs of students who have been unable to succeed in established elementary and high schools and/or continuation schools. The one.Program supports court and community school programs and one.Charter.
Qualifications
Requirements to apply: Successful candidate must possess a valid California teaching credential or have the ability to secure a California teaching credential. Intern teachers are accepted. This position is represented by the California Teachers Association (CTA).
