Compensation: Full time: $50,000 - $65,000/year Part-time: $25.00 - $31.00/hour

About the Opportunity

CheckMate.ID Corp. is a Vancouver-based fintech building software for high-speed, high-liquidity financing across Canada and the U.S. We are hiring two accountants - one full time permanent and one part-time - both reporting directly to the CFO and working in office at our Vancouver office.

What You Will Do
Manage day-to-day accounting: AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
Prepare daily cash flow summaries, weekly dashboards, and monthly financial reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government filings.




Work with our technology team to test and optimize integrations between our proprietary platforms and QuickBooks Online .

What You Bring
CPA designation or active CPA candidate preferred.
Full-time: 5 + years of professional accounting experience. Part-time: 3 + years.
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts); Power BI, Google Sheets an asset.
Interest or experience in FinTech, lending, or SaaS; exposure to automation or data query tools is a robust plus.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Legally entitled to work in Canada on a permanent basis and able to work on-site in Vancouver, BC.
