Hospitalist – Langley Memorial Hospital (LMH)

Fraser Health is actively seeking physicians to join our hospital medicine program at Langley Memorial Hospital. Ideal candidates demonstrate a solid commitment to establishing a permanent acute‑care hospital practice and to working collaboratively with all inter‑qualified team members.

Responsibilities

- Admission and care management of "unattached" patients as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP).
- Provide supportive care for select surgical and specialty medical patients.
- Maintain flexibility with rounding lines, admission shifts, overnight shifts, and virtual shifts, supported by clinical associates.

Qualifications

- Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
- Certification of either CCFP (or equivalent) or FRCP.
- Robust ACLS certification (recommended).
- Hospitalist experience, fellowship, and/or membership in qualified hospital medicine societies is an asset.

Compensation

We are on the new Fraser Health Hospitalist Contract, which pays rates per PMA plus additional incentives. Compensation types include Alternative Payment Arrangement.
