This full time position reports to the Site Manager, emphasizing adherence to Lookout’s mission. Key skills required include meal preparation, cooking, and cleanliness. You will serve daily meals and beverages, while ensuring kitchen and dining areas are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook daily meals and snacks
• Serve beverages and ensure food availability after hours
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
• Oversee and guide kitchen volunteers
• Develop menu plans and supply lists
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education plus Cooking Diploma
• Minimum two years relevant cooking experience
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1
• FOODSAFE Certificate from the Department of Health
• Criminal Record Clearance for Vulnerable Sector
